Our approach

To increase transparency, efficiency, and in streamlining each business function to increase MAHLE’s competitiveness in the market, a global S/4HANA program MORE "MAHLE optimized real-time enterprise" was initiated.

As part of MORE, a global controlling business concept was designed and realized for a best-in-class operational performance management.

This business concept harmonized and standardized operational controlling cross-BU and cross-region for the MAHLE group, and served as a basic guideline for the deployment of the new S/4HANA system.

In an iterative and agile approach, and together with a team of controlling experts from each MAHLE business unit and MAHLE IT, a global controlling business concept was defined and aligned with stakeholders.

After design and realization of the template, the roll-out (deployment) to MAHLE entities has been initiated as of 2022, with the underlying business concept as guideline and governance.

Anchoring a common "One MAHLE" idea across project participants and stakeholders by dissolving historically grown legal or "business unit" driven structures in every business decision or discussion towards a “what’s best for MAHLE?” thinking.
